Bark House

Filed In Announcements

One of Winkbox’s first clients Chris McCurry, co-owner of Bark House, just published a book on the history of the Bark House Style. This impressive collection of historic and contemporary stories and images demonstrates the diversity, flexibility and longevity of the natural bark shingle. This book will be an inspiration to interior designers, builders and architects.

Even though we did not have the opportunity to design this book, it has everything we love, great writing by Chris McCurry and Nan Chase, great design by m: graphic design and absolutely exquisite imagery by one of our favorite local photographers, Todd Bush. When you see this book you will not only want to move to the mountains, you will want to move into a Bark House home.
