I recently finished The Jungle by Upton Sinclair. I was so inspired by the story I planned a visit to The Special Collections and Preservation Division at the Harold Washington Chicago Public Library just to look at the original photos from the Chicago stock yards. It was such a cool experience, I got to wear the white gloves, that I was not quite ready to let go of my new obsession.
So most recently, I worked on a sandbox project and designed my own cover for The Jungle. I quickly discovered there are MANY covers out there, a few good ones, but I thought the world could probably use a few more prototypes.
